The Story Behind The Name

Saint D’Agneaux is the name used by my ancestors, who have a long French heritage that began in Normandy, and as I understand it were land barons for the English crown. It translates to “Saint of the Lamb,” or “the Lamb of God,” or “the Angel of God,” depending on your interpretation. I chose the name of my family bloodline because that’s exactly what I hope to create with this brand: family. “Saint D’Agneaux” embodies the life, love, and respect I wish to breathe into my personal and professional life. As such, we at Saint D’Agneaux believe all Life is sacred. We celebrate diversity, welcome tradition, and practice ceremony. Our brand is a movement in lateral frequency. We have chosen Gratitude as our religion. We are an empire that aims to awaken the greatness in all women, men, and children, in a collective effort to serve the greater good.

And so it is.

With love and ‘Gratidude’,

A Dream Made Manifest

The vision of Saint D’Agneaux was cultivated in my mind for more than 20 years. Like so many others that venture off into unknown territory, I was consumed with doubt and resistance. I did not feel that I had the appropriate resources and experience, but the dream persisted. All I had was my vision and the inspiration of my parents who had successful careers of their own in design, fashion, and retail. So, when I finally decided to go for it, I realized that it wasn’t the perceived lack of professional experience that was holding me back, it was myself, and what I needed was to get out of my own way.

Before manifesting the dream of Saint D’Agneaux, life sent me plenty of challenges, it was an injury that urged me to address the direction of my life. Survival was the road I had most traveled and I had certainly become an expert at it. Every time my survival was thrust in to overdrive, I was forced to reevaluate my life, offering me immensely valuable personal experiences that would become central to my fight to overcome my fear and choose myself, choose my dream and choose the risk.  My partners in that reevaluation were Love and Gratitude. And then, an awakening! It was through a religious practice of Love and Gratitude that I developed my first label, Gratidude. As most things do, Gratidude transformed and gave life to Saint D’Agneaux where we hope to embrace a full wealth of experiences to share with you, personally – and always with the utmost Love and Gratitude.
